Airtel introduced a new data plan bundle few days ago which was titled a BONUS DATA OFFER said to be on for the next 6 months, see screenshot in the image shown below.

About the Airtel Double Data plan is that the data remains at the name price, for example the price of the Airtel 1.5gb bundle is normally N1000; now with this special offer coming from Airtel, you get 3gb worth data for the same N1000 to go for the next 6 months. 

Also the 3.5gb plan which goes for N2000 is inclusive is this BONUS DATA offer. which means you get 7gb of data for N2000. 

Lastly is the 5gb plan which normally goes for N2500. By opting for this, you get 10gb data for N2500 for the next 6 months, other bonuses include 6GB for N1,500 and 18GB for N4000.

How To Subscribe For The Airtel Double Data Plan

Before you subscribe to this, it is important you know if your line is eligible for this offer. Being that you do recharge and then find out it can not work on your phone and also that most network operator offers especially Airtel network usually selects SIM cards for various offers.

To know if you are eligible, first try to subscribe to any of the plans with an empty balance, if you get a notification that you don't have enough balance on your line, it means your line is eligible and then you can proceed to recharge you phone with the required amount and then subscribe.

But if you receive a notification like you don't qualify for this offer and other related information you should get another Airtel line to try.

Hopefully they don't remove the data anyhow, because Airtel are fund of Zapping data. The thing isn't the amount they give but that you get and use the exact data you paid for matters.
